Autumn


No sooner than the calendar says it's arrived the weather obliged with crisp nights and cool days.

Now to see how sensitive I really am to leaf mold. They tell me outdoor mold spores have been at record highs this year. I start weekly allergy shots in just over a month which run for 6 months before tapering off to once every 2 or 3 weeks. How wonderful it would be to get off the daily dose of Clarinex and Nasonex.

Supposedly my compost pile is rife with the very spores I am allergic to, the good news is that my closest neighbors (3 of them) have removed their maple trees, so the leaf mold should be minimized.

Praise The Lord!


My Mom's biopsy tests all came back NEGATIVE ! Praise The LORD!
Thanks for you prayers (you know who you are :) )

I go to have my sinuses scoped out in 12 days...no chance of cancer so he says but I do have some polyps or cysts up there that he wants to "view". This is the allergist, so I guess he's not qualified to remove them, so why doesn't he send me to a surgeon for the test? Of course we know the answer don't we?

I was amazed when I got my BC&BS statement to see that they only paid Easton Hospital $388.00 of the billed $1012.00 for my cat scans. It was a relief to read that my balance owed was $0 also!

Labor Day


It was one of those rare times that the entire family from my parents through the grand kids were assembled for an event. It was a great day (except for one isolated event), the weather was near perfect and the company the best. When you don't get together as a family often you notice people aging more readily. Even though I'm the oldest child, I'm the only one who hasn't started turning grey, so I get a lot of ribbing about dying my hair (which I don't)
