Spoke Too Soon

I had done an extensive cleaning of my bedroom the day of my last BLOG entry and I must have stirred up too much dust because the next day my sinuses started on what turned out to be four days of misery. Story of my life...everytime things look like they are turning around BAM!!!

Tomorrow is Sunday...new day and a new week! I will venture forward and look for something good to happen...and pray it holds for more than a week.

Thanks for the prayers, Bruce was operated on last week and had a benign bone cyst removed.

I had allergy testing done last week also and was found to be allergic to three outdoor molds and dust mites. The allergist put me on Clarinex and Nasonex and scheduled me for a sinus CT scan.
The meds are working great, my energy level is up and all symptoms are dissipated except for some sinus congestion and drainage.

Gallery

I've recently installed GALLERY v1.3 on my web server, check it out. Gallery is an open source creation, and it's the best I've found for displaying photos online. It's all PHP script and wasn't too difficult to install even with the sparse documentation.
I now have the courage to install Moveable Type on my server which I believe is written in PERL.


Tent Meeting starts tonight and it's soooooo hot out there! I'm looking at the weather report and the forecasted high drops from 93 for today and tomorrow to 77 on Tuesday and Wednesday!

The Lord does hear our prayers!

Speaking of prayers, I know some of my readers are praying Christians and I have a couple prayer requests...first is my cousin David with a rare skin cancer and second for a co-worker Bruce with a tumor of unknown origin. Thanks in advance for your prayers, and have a blessed week.
