For decades, if not a century, stories and rumors have duped Christians. The Internet and e-mail have only proliferated these hoaxes. Do not be dismayed when you hear that the story proved incorrect about NASA (or even a Yale professor) finding the “missing day” of Joshua. Lostday . The fact that someone perpetrated a hoax on Christians does not change the truism of the Biblical account. Even if an e-mail came out purporting that NASA proved there is no 24 hour gap, I would still believe what my Bible says over scientists. We ought to be checking out what we hear, just as we take care to check on preaching from the pulpit in our Bibles.
